Cursillo seeks to serve the whole Church, and to equip Christians to be the church wherever they are, and in whatever stream of tradition or theology they are comfortable. Cursillo emphasises the ministry of the laity alongside the clergy.
In the Diocese of Oxford, Cursillo is one of many practical expressions for building a more Christ-like church that is:

News from the Secretariat
Leadership Developments
We are delighted to announce to you that
Paul Sugden has stepped forward offering to be our next Lay Director
and Sally Mears offering to be Deputy Lay Director.
They have come forward jointly.
The Secretariat at its recent meeting accepted their self-nominations unanimously,
subject to the considerations of DBS checks and Safeguarding Training.
